An Apple a Day... Baby-Food Apples

Wanna see me be lazy?

Here:

THIS is how you make apples... You know... the same way you do pears... but with apples.

You could also cut them up into little pieces and steam them, but the baking is a million times tastier.

I'm actually getting ready to start introducing a few little bits of finger foods and diced, baked pears and apples (so they're nice and soft!) make a great choice.  I'll post more on that later.

Wow.  That WAS lazy.

Hey...How about some ideas for food for your toddler? I could use some of those for sure!

Hi Melissa! I'm with Arizona Mamma... I need ideas of healthy food to feed Caitlyn! I never thought to bake apples or pears to make them softer for her... she hasn't even tried apples yet (other than sauce!) :) Thanks for the idea!

I love that you make your own baby food. You're such an uber mom. Good think I love you so much, otherwise I'd have to hate you for making me look bad.

Your comment on my blog the other day STILL makes me chuckle. Best.comment.ever.
